His Holiness Sakya Trizin's Holy Activities
 Monastery / Nunnery

Building Project: Under construction, Kalimpong Monastery under auspices of H.E. Ratna Rinpoche.

In 1962, at the age of seventeen, H.H. Sakya Trizin bestowed his first Hevajra Initiation in
Kalimpong, among the scenic ranges of Himalayan mountains. There has always been a small
community of Sakya followers consisting of Tibetans, Nepalis, Sikkhimese and non-Tibetans since
the 1950's. The imminent need for a Sakya monastery has arisen and this is H.E. Ratna Rinpoche's
  priority project.

Maintenance Project:  Sakya Nunnery under auspices of Yum-Kusho-la and H.E. Ratna Rinpoche

Retreat Facilities: Under construction, under auspices of H.E. Ratna Vajra Rinpoche
Located next to His Holiness Podrang. His Holiness offered the best section
of the land to H.E. Ratna Rinpoche as land was too becoming too expensive
                               in Dehra Dun.
Sakya Endowment Funds

All projects are under the umbrella of His Holiness main Sakya Centre in Rajpur, India, under the directorship of Lama Lekshey. Sakya Centre has its board of Trustees headed by His Holiness. However, each project endeavours to run its own fund-raising.
