The Only Sakya Nunnery Outside Tibet
Established by His Holiness Sakya Trizin in 1994, it is a non-profit community supported by lay disciples and noble-hearted friends around the world.
It is home to almost 250 nuns of ages ranging from 7 years to 70. The Nunnery is in Dekyi Ling Tibetan Colony in Dehradun. It is about 5 minutes drive to Sakya Centre, as well as to Drolma Podrang, His Holiness Sakya Trizin's residence.
